Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Jewelry Identifier app, website, educational content, and limited web identification preview.

1. Agreement and operator

By using Jewelry Identifier, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. The service is operated by Ideas All Day Ltd. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What the service provides

Jewelry Identifier uses automated analysis to provide preliminary information about photographed jewelry, educational content, collection and care tools, and related features. Features may differ between the limited website preview and the iPhone app.

Not authentication or professional appraisal: results are estimates and educational guidance. They do not certify authenticity, gemstone origin or treatment, metal purity, provenance, legal ownership, insurance replacement value, or a guaranteed sale price.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Upload only photos and information you have the right to process.
  • Crop out people, documents, addresses, and unrelated private information.
  • Use results as one input and obtain physical testing or professional advice before material financial, insurance, legal, restoration, or selling decisions.
  • Do not use the service to misrepresent jewelry, deceive buyers, create false provenance, or facilitate unlawful conduct.
  • Do not probe, scrape, automate, resell, reverse engineer, bypass usage limits, defeat bot protection, or interfere with the service.

4. Photos and permission to process

You retain your rights in content you submit. You give Ideas All Day Ltd. and its processors a limited permission to transmit, resize, analyze, and otherwise process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the requested feature. Our retention practices are described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Free web preview and fair use

The website preview is a limited acquisition and evaluation feature, not an unlimited public API. We may enforce browser, network, bot-verification, concurrency, request-size, daily-capacity, and provider-cost limits. We may reject duplicate, suspicious, unsupported, or automated requests and pause the feature when its safety or cost controls require it.

6. App purchases and subscriptions

The app may offer subscriptions, trials, or one-time purchases. The products, benefits, trial terms, territory pricing, taxes, billing period, and renewal terms shown in Apple’s purchase interface at the time of purchase control. Apple processes payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund requests under its applicable terms. Manage subscriptions in your Apple account settings.

7. Intellectual property

The app, website, software, branding, original interface, and editorial content are owned by Ideas All Day Ltd. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant permission to copy, redistribute, sell, or create a competing dataset or service from the content.

8. Availability and changes

We may change models, limits, functionality, content, pricing, or availability; correct or remove inaccurate output; and suspend access needed to protect users, providers, infrastructure, or the business. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Use judgment

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Automated outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong.

Applicable law controls

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and liability for indirect or consequential loss. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
